It's not summer yet (the fact that it snowed again yesterday is proof of that), but I'm still going to camp!
Camp NaNoWriMo begins April 1st and I'll be taking advantage of this time to finish up the new cozy mystery I've been working on!
So what is NaNoWriMo? National Novel Writing Month is a writers virtual program/challenge in which you try to write an entire novel (50,000 words) in a month. It's traditionally held in November, but they have opened it up during various times throughout the year.
I already have 20k written so far, so I hope I will be able to write like crazy during the month of April to get those last 50,000 words in! If I can reach my goal, I'll spend the majority of May editing so I can have a June release...just in time for summer reading!
So, what in the world does one "pack" for a month of "writing camp"?
